Introduction
Poland has hosted two main activities within Window Roads and Regional Development, developed in cooperation with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. In 2004 an expert visit on Via Baltica was held in Poland with interesting discussion between different stakeholders.
In 2005 the 2nd Conference on Roads and Environment was held in Pokrzywna in Poland on "Environmental issues in the open planning and decision making process". For this conference the Partners for Roads game "Parters on the road to success"was developed, a board game about infrastructure planning. Poland has futhermore taken part in all conferences within this Window.
