8 - Roads and Regional Development
Introduction
Czech Republic has taken part in several activities within Partners for Roads and Window 8, Roads and Regional Development, mainly in cooperation with the TRC, Transport Research Centre. Except from taking part in most annual conferences, Czech Republic hosted the last successful Conference on the topic "Cooperation - the solution in combining environment and economy in road planning", located 25 km outside Prague.
In September 2007, Czech Republic also hosted an interesting expert visit on mitigation measures. A wide variety of measures were visited, from smaller fauna passages to valley bridges.
