The Asian Development Bank (ADB) aims at improving welfare in Asia and the Pacific by helping the developing member countries to reduce poverty and improve the quality of life. ADB is a multilateral development financial institution with the vision of a poverty free region. ADB’s main instruments for providing help are policy dialogue, loans, technical assistance, grants, guarantees and equity investments.
